Here are a few things happening this month.

• Brother Can You Spare a Droid is finally released...

  Neville Pearsall has published a collection of recordings made about 25 years ago. It is carried on CD Baby and will be available locally. It has a wide variety of styles but falls into the rock category with some jazz and psychedelic influences and a touch of humor.

  One of my favorite projects of 2008 has been released. Folk/punk genius has been captured and released. A wild mix of accordion, banjo, washboard, mandolin, musical saw and washtub bass with screaming vocals; these youths deliver a solid message with fresh enthusiasm.
